Newbery and Caldecott Winners Announced!

We had our own mock Caldecott election here at Baldwin last month, but unfortunately...we were wrong! (It just goes to show you how many GREAT children's books were published in 2008!) Here are the REAL winners, as chosen by the American Library Association:


Caldecott Medal:
The House in the Night, illustrated by Beth Krommes and written by Susan Marie Swanson, Houghton Mifflin Co.
Caldecott Honor Books:
A Couple of Boys Have the Best Week Ever by Marla Frazee, Harcourt, Inc.
