Third-grader Andrew recommends...

Hot Fudge Hero by Pat Brisson. I am interrested in this book because Bertie threw a ball over this mean guy's fence and Bertie had to make friends with with him to get the ball back and he did. Bertie and his friend had a bet and Bertie won a hot fudge sundae.

Third-grader Andrew also recommends...

Mush, a Dog from Space by Daniel Pinkwater. I like this book because it is funny because Mush comes from another planet and he can talk. He meets a little girl and she takes Mush home with her. He helps the family in different ways.

I recommend not one book, but an entire series. The Nancy Drew series is one of the best series I've read! There are over 100 books in the series, and some good ones are: "Mystery of the Mother Wolf", "Mystery at Morsea Manor" "Trade Wind Danger" and "The Clues Challenge". Not to mention every other book, but those are the ones I’ve read. The Movie is also great, but if you don't like it it is a little different then the Nancy Drew books. Please try at least one…they will have you reading for the whole summer!

Miss Laurie adds: There are all kinds of Nancy Drew series to enjoy, including graphic novels! Ask a Librarian to help you find a good one!

Rebecca recommends...

The Powerpuff Girls: No Girls allowed! by Tracey West - I like this book because the girls win.

SpongeBob Squarepants: Hands Off by David Lewman - I like this book because SpongeBob and Patrick buy a bubble blowing set.

Truman recommends...

The Official Pokemon Handbook #3 edited by Josh Izzo and Stephanie Howze is awesome because it has cool Pokemon and it sows the new Pokemon. The Official Pokemon Pokedex by Tracey West and Katherine Noll is cool because there is new legendary Pokemon in it.
